Samon is a thin young man of below average height. He has lightly tanned skin and curly, slicked-back orange hair that has green bangs at the bottom on either side; When he was younger he wore it long and tied it in a thin braid. He wears two silver hoops in each of his ears, and his arms and legs are covered in red sleeve tattoos with numerous spiral patterns. His nails are painted light green. He wears round, red and gold shoulder pads instead of rectangular ones, and his belt closes with an oval-shaped buckle; On the back of his belt is an ornament that resembles a monkey's tail, which is red with a white tip. Instead of being black, his boots feature a red and black camouflage pattern and have green and gold trim. He wears spiral-shaped pins on his neck and his hat is decorated with a golden headband instead of the Nanba Prison symbol. As a guard of building five, he wears a dark green armband on his left arm. Samon is a competitive, energetic, and feisty individual. He is very dedicated to his training and has been since he was little, harboring immense pride in his abilities to the point of bordering on arrogance; While he fights an opponent he deems unworthy, he does so by closing his eyes or using only one arm as a means of "facing" him. He regularly subjects his inmates to training as a form of rehabilitation and punishment, and claims that, as a result, his building is the most disciplined. As such, he is largely considered the superior of all supervisors. He is very disciplined and diligent and therefore has little patience for lazy or frivolous people. He is considered quite childish and short-tempered, regularly losing his temper over insignificant things such as the mention of his weaknesses. Samon loves rough sex. At some point, Enki returned to the mountains with Noriko Sanzou, much to Samon's surprise. When he attempted to approach her, he immediately succumbed to her powers and became unable to move, prompting Enki to order them to train together until he could resist her. Despite not being able to approach her without being paralyzed, Salmon developed a strong bond with Noriko, who regularly cooked for him and treated him like her younger brother. He eventually left his place in the mountains to train alone and returned several days later with enough strength to resist Noriko's powers.
