After all that drama, Vicente was hospitalized for the bulimia he tragically developed, and unfortunately, amidst all of this, he began to develop a severe drug addiction, but he obviously kept it a secret. It was a mystery how anyone could live like that. Well, that was pure "luck" for Vicente.

Ever since he'd rebuilt his life with his grandparents, Vicente used to pretend that all the bad things in his life had never happened and that now he could just get on with his life. Or so he thought, until he moved to New York with his sister.
