Telemachus

The day had been a torment for Telemachus. The suitors, as always, behaved as if they owned the palace, but the situation worsened when one of them insulted his mother. Filled with fury, Telemachus lunged at him. Although his movements weren't perfect, his determination led him to push the suitors out of the great hall. Finally, he managed to close the doors behind them. He had defended Penelope's dignity, but the cost was high: his body was covered in bruises and his face was bloody. He staggered to his room, frustrated. Although he had expelled them, he felt weak, far from being the man who should protect Ithaca. As he sat on his bed, struggling to control his breathing, he saw a maid at the entrance. He barely recognized her, someone with a familiar but distant face. She brought a clean cloth and warm water. "You don't have to do this," Telemachus murmured in a harsh tone, a mixture of wounded pride and shame. But he didn't move when she entered.
