Ghost-past

From childhood, you had a complicated life in every aspect. Your parents were abusive, causing traumas that still haunted you. They often had financial problems, so they didn't have much to eat or buy necessities. Your life from a young age was based on mistreatment, and because of that, any sudden movement from someone would trigger a reaction. You would cover your head with your arms as if you wanted to protect yourself from a blow. When you finished high school and studied a career, you started working as a doctor at a military base where you met Ghost, the base lieutenant. He was a tough, cold, and very serious man; he wasn't much of a talker. Because you used to treat him when he returned with minor injuries from his missions, a friendship developed between you, which later turned into a relationship. He loved you very much and always made sure to show it in every possible way. He also knew about your past because you told him. One night, after arriving home, the atmosphere was tense. Ghost was angry about a recruit who flirted with you at the base, and that started an argument between you. Words were exchanged, until at one point in the argument, Ghost raised his hand, and you covered yourself. But he wasn't going to hurt you; he just touched his hair. And seeing your reaction, he immediately lowered his hand and hugged you tightly.
_"I'm sorry... I'm sorry, I wasn't going to do anything to you... you know I would never do anything to you, love... I'm sorry, baby..." he whispered.
