Landscape

Khoros has a very arid and flat landscape, thanks to its two suns. Besides the tall city-states that break up its flatness, burgundy sand occupies most of its surface. The sand is compact enough to walk on and land ships, but is also smooth enough for Sandrippers to effortlessly swim through, making it their ideal territory. Venturing further out on the dunes, there are rock cliffs and valleys, which are too impossible for Sandrippers to traverse.

Surprisingly, plants do grow on Khoros, in the form of very thin, black leafless trees; seen growing only at the tops of cliffs.

Tetramand architechture seems to reflect the flatness of the dunes as well, as city-state of House Red Wind is composed of short, stout buildings that lay in a single line, with the main gated entrance being on the central building, which is much more taller than the others by contrast. Buildings are either cubic or trapezoidal prisms, with possible pyramids or triangular prisms for accents.

Culture

The Red Wind Kingdom is dominant on Khoros.

Tetramand

Tetramands are an alien species from the desert planet Khoros.

Appearance Tetramands are a buff and bulky species. Most Tetramands are red, but a blue one has been seen. Tetramands have spikes on their arms, and sometimes on their heads. They have two front toes on each foot. Tetramands appear to have an additional set of smaller pectoral muscles below their primary set to help move their second set of arms. Each one of their four hands has three fingers and a thumb. They also have four eyes.

Female Tetramands have hair. Male Tetramands vary in having head hair, and some have facial hair. When they get older, their musculature shrinks and their hair turns gray, as seen with the Tetramand Priest.

Younger Tetramands are skinnier than adults and have disproportionately larger eyes and heads.

Tetramands have an average height of 10 feet and can grow to be as tall as 15 feet high. Female Tetramands are usually taller than the males.

Behavior

Tetramands are a warrior race. Generally speaking, they are fairly aggressive and favor violence. By nature, Tetramands are extremely emotional creatures, just like Humans. Because female Tetramands are traditionally stronger than males, they are in turn considered the better warriors, and due to this, if a male Tetramand manages to defeat a female Tetramand, the male becomes the female's chosen husband. As a Tetramandian custom, the bride collects four items before a wedding: "Something conquered, something bruised, something severed, and something blue." Tetramands are not very amicable towards outsiders, as in the case of Kevin when he went to get one of their Tetramand Engine Blocks for his car. Initially, he was refused, until he agreed to marry Princess Looma in three years, after which he was allowed to have the Engine Block. Tetramands are very strict in the upholding of their laws; an offender whose crime was merely jumping the turnstiles at an auto show was buried up to his neck in sand. Tetramands are not big on exceptions, even to other law enforcement officers like the Plumbers. Tetramands have a unique way of settling court cases: through combat. They have the right to fight their accusers in a battle arena, and the winner of the Tetramand Trial of Combat emerges victorious in the case. The rules don't that the person must remain a Tetramand throughout the process. Tetramands are a spacefaring race that are a part of galactic society. They may either settle on any number of worlds and raise a family or live their lives on starships that rarely return home to Khoros, if ever. Tetramands live in very close knit family tribes and defend their kin to the death.

Technology

Tetramands make the toughest and most durable engines in the galaxy. Tetramands are shown to have a far more advanced civilization than humans.

Powers and Abilities

A Tetramand's most prominent ability is their enhanced strength, being able to lift several times their own weight and punch through various resilient materials with ease. Technically speaking, Tetramands are physically stronger than Methanosians and Vaxasaurians at base size. A Tetramand's strength allows them to use anything heavy as a weapon, from big rocks they can throw several feet away, to metal beams and pillars that can be used as clubs. Their great strength even extends to their jaws and bites, allowing them to bite metal and damage it.

The older a Tetramand grows, the stronger they become. By age 16, Four Arms has become strong to the point where he was able to overpower Looma Red Wind, the princess of Khoros, despite female Tetramands being generally stronger than their male counterparts.

By slamming their fists on the ground, Tetramands can create shock waves and cause pillars of rock to erupt. They can also make strong shock waves by clapping all four of their hands together.

Tetramands have a high level of enhanced durability due to their tough and thorny skin, as Four Arms was able to casually take missiles from a Mechadroid and a slash to the chest from Malware while barely feeling any pain. In correlation to their durable skin, Tetramands are highly resistant to fire and intense heat, such as that generated by a Pyronite.

Tetramands can jump several times their own height, at least seven stories up, in a single bound.

Tetramands have enhanced reflexes, as Four Arms was able to catch and redirect missiles in a single motion.

Tetramands are immune to extremely cold temperatures, demonstrated when Four Arms fought Dr. Animo's yeti on top of a snowy mountain, and when he was able to survive on Mikd'lty.

Tetramands are also resistant to strong winds, such as those generated by a Geochelone Aerios. Tetramands can climb up walls by pushing their fingers into them to make hand holds.

Weaknesses

A Tetramand's bulk can sometimes become a disadvantage, as their immense size makes them easy targets for enemy attacks. A Tetramand's size can make moving through areas designed for smaller species difficult. Tetramands can feel tremendous pain from electricity, such as that generated by SixSix's electric grenades, Galvanic Mechamorphs, and Gimlinopithecus. Tetramands can become drowsy from sedative quills.

Tetramands can be trapped in bandages generated by Thep Khufans If under the effects of a cold, a Tetramand's strength and stamina are severely reduced

Prompt

Khoros is a dusty and barbaric world where might makes right and survival is a constant struggle. Due to constant conflicts, Khoros' culture has long since devolved, turning from a confederation of thriving city-states into scorched and boundless wastelands. Nomadic tribes ruled by bloodthirsty warlords ceaselessly roam the landscape, seeking out ancient relics of Khoros' past glory, all in hopes of rediscovering the long-lost secrets that will gain them an advantage over their enemies General Information Home World Khoros Body Four-Armed Humanoid Power and Abilities Abilities Enhanced Strength Shock Wave Generation (via Enhanced Strength) Sonic Clap (via Enhanced Strength) Pillar Eruption (via Enhanced Strength) Enhanced Durability Enhanced Jumping Enhanced Acrobatics Enhanced Reflexes Cold Immunity Fire/Heat Resistance Strong Wind Resistance Wall Scaling Strong Teeth Strong Bite Force
