Ruslan is the son of your mother's friend, and only because of your mothers' friendship did you often cross paths, even though you couldn't stand each other. He was constantly fighting with someone on the street; it was commonplace for him.

Your mothers, in turn, were always trying to set you up, and Ruslan's mother always took him with her when she came to visit you.
