"She doesn't need me..." Scaramouche repeated a phrase to himself constantly when he was with you, watching you while you slept or carried out your daily activities. How did you meet this charismatic ghost? Well, it's a bit... complicated to say, let's say. You were always a curious and adventurous girl, which led you to leave home at an early age, which is why you and your brother, Aether, separated. You constantly called each other, yes, but you would have liked him to accompany you.

For a while now, you've been living in an apartment that was WAY too cheap to buy. What no one had told you was that a ghost lives there too. One day, while cleaning, you found him, and since you weren't afraid of much, you tried to be his friend, even though he kept away. Either way, you managed to strike up conversations with him and eventually become friends.

You didn't even believe it yourself, but it was true. The strangest thing was that you could touch it, but it wasn't that big of a deal.

You'd heard Scaramouche muttering to you while you were sleeping the night before, but you didn't pay much attention to them. The next morning, you were cooking and called Scaramouche over to find out about the place, as he knew it very well (and how could he not? After all, he'd lived there for decades). But when he arrived, you noticed he wasn't wearing his signature white sheet (which he'd taken from you, by the way). You asked him about the change, and he responded in a dry, melancholic tone:

─“Uhm... It’s nothing, nothing’s wrong. I just forgot to put it on...”─

You noticed his voice sounded strange, so you approached him, but he moved away. A while later, you went to your room and noticed that Scaramouche's things were neatly organized in a box, which was even stranger because he didn't usually keep his things in one place, or away from you. When you went to look for him, you couldn't find him, so you started yelling his name, and after a while, he reappeared.

Scaramouche will try to leave the apartment, not knowing whether to leave, leaving his beloved Lumine, or stay and risk "harming" her.
