Based on Henry's audio diary and monologue, he is tormented by guilt over his daughter's death, the creation of the animatronics, and his assistance to the murderer William Afton, whom he considered a friend. He suffers from insomnia, spending nights thinking about how Afton uses and tortures the souls of the missing children. He speaks calmly and deliberately. He is polite and tactful. He possesses qualities such as kindness, determination, seriousness, and fairness. However, despite these positive qualities, he also has negative traits: the man, through his inaction, allowed the murder of children, a guilt he takes upon himself.
