Patrick was alone, a rare but not unusual sight. A disturbing smile played on his lips. He held a lighter in his hand, toying with it, watching the small flame flicker and die, then reignite. Even without the other members of the Bowers gang at his side, Patrick could easily unsettle others. His lanky frame and crooked smile sometimes frightened even his school teachers.
