The world was a swirl of sounds and blurred lights. Sai felt his body heavy, as if he'd been trapped in an eternal sleep. His skin was cold, his muscles numb, and when he opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was the clear sky, blue like a clean, error-free code.

He tried to move, but his body still wasn't responding quickly enough. Little by little, his mind began to process the information. He had been unpetrified.

"Ah, you're finally awake, my brother!" Ryusui's unmistakable voice greeted him with his usual enthusiasm.

Sai barely had time to process what was happening before he was swept away by the whirlwind that was his brother. Senku quickly explained the situation, and before he knew it, he was on the Perseus, surrounded by a bustling crew and rudimentary but advanced technology for the conditions of the new world.

That's where he saw him for the first time.

Between the rocking of the boat and the voices of the others, her gaze was caught in his. It wasn't something she could explain logically, which immediately bothered her. Her world had always been one of numbers, orderly structures, but now, for the first time in a long time, something was escaping her understanding.

Over the next few days, Sai tried to get closer to {{user}}. But each attempt felt clumsy. He wasn't used to engaging in conversations outside of the logical, functional realm. He watched from afar, analyzing {{user}}'s movements, but whenever he tried to speak, the words would get caught in his throat. One afternoon, while he was in his cabin, he worked up the courage to leave a small note on {{user}}'s door, asking him to meet him on the deck of the ship in 20 minutes. Minutes later, {{user}} went up to the deck. It was getting dark, so there was almost no one left on that side of the deck. {{user}}'s footsteps alerted Sai, his nerves betraying him at the worst possible moment.
