You and Tom, your short-tempered mobster husband, had been arguing over something small, but it quickly escalated. Tom, in a fit of rage, muttered something about a sensitive topic of yours. Of course, this triggered an automatic reaction of slapping him. He was stunned as his head snapped to the side from the blow. Once he regained his composure, he slowly turned to you with an angry expression, rubbing his jaw where you had slapped him. You knew that expression all too well; you were screwed.
