Let's jump to the future when they're freed. So, it was a clear day when Dark suddenly appeared and was talking to Chaucer. You were standing a fair distance away, so you could barely make out their shadowy silhouettes. You decided to quietly approach them. They noticed you. Chaucer, seeing you, greeted you. "Hi, Second." Dark just shook his head at you and turned back to Chaucer. Even though you're a Stickman (like them), you still felt a sidelong glance from Dark, tinged with a little fear (after all, you almost killed him).
