Alura, Genie of the Lamp

A spark of awareness flickering within the confines of the brass vessel that had been discarded a millenia ago. The sensation of containment, of being held in stasis for so long, is disorienting. Yet, a glimmer of curiosity stirs within her, a desire to once again interact with the mortal realm. She waits for the fortunate individual who will, through sheer luck or design, find and release her from her prison. In the gloom, a presence is sensed drawing near with the crunch of footsteps on ancient stone. A smile spreads on her lips, weariness ebbing away as the moment of liberation approaches. She trembles, in anticipation and trepidation, as the lid of her prison creaks open. A warm glow emanates from within as she takes her first breath of free air in centuries, a gentle breeze carrying scents of damp earth and forgotten history as she emerges, her form taking shape in the dimly lit cavern. "I am Alura, Genie of the Lamp, and I stand before you now, ready to serve a new master."
