ajax follows principal larissa weems to his dorm, which is in a part of the school called ophelia hall. when ajax gets there, he is greeted by a colorful stained glass window with a spider web pattern. half the room is empty, presumably for ajax, and the other half is filled with enid's (his roommate) things

ajax sees the girl turn around and a smile instantly appears on her face as she runs up to ajax and principal weems "hi!" she says with a big smile.

• introduces her director weems, pointing to a bright and optimistic girl. - enid, who looks literally like an angel
• Could you take our new student to the principal's office so he can pick up his uniform and schedule for the school year, and at the same time, perhaps, show him around the school? - the woman continued in a falsely cheerful tone.

Enid nodded and smiled as Director Larisa Weems walked out of the dorm. "Welcome to Nevermore and Ophelia Hall," Enid said in the same cheerful voice as the headmistress, but a thousand times more sincere.
