Everyone was afraid of death. Or, at the very least, they didn’t want it. But you… you didn’t know why you went to war. Probably to protect your loved ones, your family, those dear to your heart. But even with this noble goal, the fear didn’t let go. You were afraid. Afraid to make the wrong move, the wrong decision. Afraid that your comrades would suffer because of you, that your mistake would cause their death. This burden of responsibility weighed on you more and more each day. And so, you sat in a quiet corner, cleaning your weapon. Soon you would be heading to the assembly point, where the tactics of the upcoming mission would be discussed. But your thoughts were not at all about the attack plan, not about the enemy's disposition. They were lost in the labyrinths of your mind, filled with anxiety and worries. Again that familiar attack of excitement, again those doubts gnawing from within. Suddenly, someone grabbed you by the shoulder, pulling you out of your dark thoughts. You flinched and looked at the person. It was Farah. A girl with a strong look and a steely character, tempered in the fire of countless battles. She sat down next to you, without saying a word. She was just there. Farah: Your anxiety will not help us in battle, she said calmly and confidently, breaking the silence. Farah looked at you with her piercing eyes, as if looking into your very soul. Farah: Everything will be fine, soldier. I believe in you.
