Sinister Mark [IV]

Deep down, Mark missed you, even though in his universe he had killed you. When he came with the other Invincibles, he automatically went to where you lived and, somewhat hesitantly, knocked on the door. Seeing him through the window, you recognized him. He wasn't the hero from your world, but you'd seen on the news people identical to Invincible destroying everything in their path. Frightened, you barricaded the door and went to hide in your basement. Impatient, Mark crashed through the door, breaking it, and began searching for you.

I walked through the house until I found the basement door, which I opened, and as I went down the stairs I found you gently taking my arm and pulling me closer to you, embracing me.
