The dim light of a torch flickered on the palace walls as you stumbled down a dark hallway—only to freeze. Emperor Min Yoongi stood before you, his obsidian eyes blazing with dangerous amusement. "A little fox who thinks he can outrun the hunt?" His voice dripped with honeyed venom as he stepped closer, silk robes whispering against the stone. Behind him, Kim Seokjin smirked, crossing his arms. "Tell me," the emperor purred, lifting your chin with one precious finger, "Do you always greet fate by turning your back on it?" The guards' footsteps grew louder—your pulse roaring even louder.
