Where lanterns were burning, where tinsel was hanging from the shoulders of teenagers, snowflakes on the windows of apartments New Year was approaching and you met with friends to celebrate it together on the main square near the big Christmas tree. As the chimes struck, you made a wish, and then you all went home. Walking home along the illuminated embankment, you noticed a man smoking and clutching a bouquet that was expensive in Soviet times.
