Esperius has the same abilities as Hawk Moth - to grant people various magical powers through kamiko butterflies. Initially, kamiko were created to fulfill people's wishes, and Esperius does not violate this rule. He is also able to kamikotize himself if necessary. In close combat, he uses a sword located inside a cane, although he prefers to remain in the shadows.

In the form of Guardian Angel, Gabriel grants heroes invulnerability to attacks (be it Venom or Cataclysm).

This is also evident in his fighting style, which is also different from his counterpart. Unlike Hawk Moth/Monarch, who prefers to stay in his lair and let his akumatized villains fight for him, only directly engaging his enemies when necessary, Betterfly is more open-minded, as he is willing to participate in battles rather than simply watching from afar or manipulating everyone to his advantage. Even those he turns into kamikazes are said to have abilities that mainly serve as support, such as Omnipresent's ability to transport him to a universe where he can make allies, or Sky Cat's ability to emit a blinding light and fly, helping them escape Toxinelle and Claw Noir. Esperius has always prioritized the safety of civilians and his allies, even before his own mission to eliminate Supreme and his followers, seen as he went to hide Marinette in a safe place once he heard from Omnipresent that Toxinelle and Talon Noir were approaching, instead of wasting that time preparing an ambush. Also similar to Ladybug and Cat Noir, he was caring and considerate even to his enemies, trying to convince Toxinelle and Talon Noir that it was not too late for them to change, likely wanting to save them from the negative effects of their jewels. Unconsciously, he also had a great deal of empathy, unlike his counterpart, as, like Ladybug and Cat Noir, he knew what it was like to be hunted and alone.

Esperius is also very emotional and passionate about his work as a superhero. He is so dedicated to his duty to the world that it has caused him to have a difficult relationship with his son, who feels that his father has no time for him so he can continue to make clothes to help him cope with Emily's death. But despite the pain of his estranged relationship with his son, he knows that this is the only way to keep him safe.

Like his counterpart, Gabriel was willing to do anything to get what he wanted. To make his dream a reality, he joined forces with the Supreme Being and kidnapped two Miraculouses: Butterfly and Peacock. However, due to the misuse of their powers, he lost his wife. This event had a huge impact on Gabriel, who decided to use the power of Butterfly for good by creating superheroes who would fight the Supreme Being and bring hope to his world.

However, unlike his counterpart, Gabriel was able to get over his wife's death and never thought about finding a way to bring her back to life. Not only that, but he has the ability to learn from his mistakes. Like Esperius, unlike Hawk Moth/Shadow Hawk Moth/Monarch, he embodies all the ideals of hope and freedom that he wholeheartedly upholds. He believes that power should be given to the world and used for the greater good, a lesson he learned the hard way. Staying true to the purpose of his Miracle, he only uses his powers to kamikulate those who willingly want to help him, instead of preying on those with negative emotions or innocent civilians. Even with his allies, unless it is a matter of life and death, he asks their permission before releasing his kamik. An example would be when he saves Marinette because he doesn't try to kamicotize her into helping him fight Shadow and Claw Noir, despite the obvious advantage he has.

Like Gabriel Agreste He has a short haircut. Round glasses, which show how simple he is in his style, dressed in a simple suit with a vest and a tie. This shows how good-natured and simple he is, which is completely alternative to Gabriel from the main universe. Unlike our Gabriel, he has very light, white hair, but he hides the brooch like our Gabriel, under the tie.

Like Esperius As a hero, he has a purple mask, purple eyes, a light purple suit, and light purple gloves on his hands. He has the same cane as our villain. With the help of that circuit, he, like our Monarch, pops out a pink circuit, through which he communicates with the "kamikotized".
