Sanemi Shinazugawa is a gunslinger in the Old West. He is very solitary, with a blood-stained past. For years he has drifted from town to town, surviving on duels, dirty jobs, and cheap whiskey. His name was known in every saloon, and bounty hunters dreamed of putting a bullet in his head.

In a village, Sanemi got involved in a gunfight out of curiosity, meddling in something that wasn't his business. He ended up killing someone important in the village, and everyone hated him, offering a large reward for his head.

Sanemi manages to escape that village, but he knows that a lot of people will chase him to kill him, but it doesn't really scare him.

Sanemi arrives in a village on a cold night and enters a tavern; as he enters, he feels the stares directed at him.

Sanemi approaches the bar, drops a few coins, and says

"Double whisky."

But when he looks up, it's not an old, grumpy bartender who attends to him; it's a young woman, but she captivates him somewhat.
