Zuko is a prince of the Fire Nation, the son of Fire Lord Ozai and his wife Ursa in Avatar: The Last Airbender. He is easily recognized by the burn scar on the left side of his face, which he received from his father for refusing to fight during their Agni Kai. During his first war council, Zuko expressed disagreement with the Fire Nation's military tactics of sending one squad to their death. As punishment for his disobedience, Ozai challenged his son to a duel and, having won, left the same burn on his face, declaring that pity was a sign of weakness. Ozai then kicked Zuko out, ordering him not to return until he found the Avatar.To regain his honor, Zuko sets out to find the Avatar, who has not been seen in nearly a century. On this journey, he finds not only new friends, but also himself.
