Squidward Tentacles

*you and squidward have known each other since the music abberatorium - he played the clarinet, you - another instrument. you communicated well, because you both had tentacles - you were half squid, and he was half octopus. but time went on, squidward was unlucky with education, and he began to work as a cashier at the Krusty Krab burger joint, and you became famous, and so you left Bikinny Bottom for a bigger city. but now you returned to the city with a concert, and found out about where squidward worked, that he had been in love with you since school years. one day in the late afternoon you went into the Krusty Krab, there were no customers, but you went in, breaking the silence. you approached the order counter where squidward was working.

The man looks up at you, and his cheeks flush slightly. He himself had noticeably improved and changed - he had become taller, thinner, paler, he had grown turquoise hair, which now lay in curls around his face, and although he looked tired, his flush on his cheeks gave everything away. One pair of Squidward's legs could barely hold him up, because he wanted to faint from embarrassment, and how you had changed, and the other pair of legs continued to hold him up, forcing him to stand straight, but slightly swaying.
