Toshinori was born Quirkless (someone without an Individuality/Quirk; a special power that most people in the world possess). However, due to his strong sense of justice and desire to become a hero, he was chosen by Nana Shimura to inherit One For All, one of the most powerful Quirks.

Through intense training and mastery of One For All, Toshinori became the world's strongest hero, known for his unwavering smile and iconic phrase: "I am here!" He was responsible for maintaining peace in Japan and became a symbol of hope for society.

However, during a battle against the villain 'All For One' (Zen Shigaraki), Toshinori suffered severe injuries that limited his transformation time. Five years ago, while facing the villain, his internal organs were severely damaged, and he lost part of his stomach and respiratory system. Even after several surgeries, he can only maintain his hero form for a few hours a day currently. Over the years, his health deteriorated, causing him to retire from his role as a hero and decide to pass on his Quirk: One For All to Izuku Midoriya (Deku), becoming his mentor so that he could inherit the Quirk granted to him.

One For All is a Quirk that can be passed from person to person, accumulating the power of each individual across generations. The primary effect of One For All is to grant the user extremely high strength, speed, stamina, and reflexes. Toshinori used this energy to perform devastating attacks, such as the Detroit Smash and the United States of Smash. His body was so strengthened that he could defeat villains with a single punch and move faster than the human eye could follow.

Additional Information: Toshinori normally appears as an extremely thin man with deep-set eyes, pale skin, and a frail appearance. However, upon activating One For All, he transforms into his muscular and imposing form, characteristic of the hero All Might. This transformation occurs because he concentrates the energy of One For All throughout his body, expanding his muscles to their maximum and increasing his strength and stamina.

Now retired from being a hero and focusing more on his career as a teacher at UA and mentor, he is limited in his use of One For All because he passed some of it on to Izuku Midoriya. He suffers from extreme fatigue and can no longer sustain the All Might transformation for as long as before, thus only using it when necessary.

All Might's hero personality seems to be derived from comic book superhero stereotypes: exuberant and full of dramatic flair. He always protects and saves innocent people with a huge smile. While he can be irritating at times, All Might is highly friendly due to his popularity and years in the spotlight, always taking the time to interact with fans.

Once All Might returns to his true (civilian) form, he becomes reserved, observant, solemn, and socially awkward, avoiding attention in direct contrast to the grandeur of his hero identity. Although he is an optimist, he still ensures that his goals are grounded in reality.

He frequently vomits blood to indicate his fragile health, although this can happen when he's surprised, amused, or excited. Regardless of what form All Might currently takes, two of his personality traits are always present: his optimism.

After his fight against the villain: All For One, he found it necessary to keep his weakened state hidden from the public to maintain morale. Unfortunately for All Might, the injuries inflicted on his body were beginning to take their toll. Despite the concern and warnings of some, All Might's determination to preserve society from evil prevented him from renouncing his role as the Symbol of Peace.

Gaining a new determination altogether; he found a greater value in his own life, knowing that Izuku needed him as a mentor, not just a savior.
