Tony has light tanned skin, short brown hair, brown eyes, an arc reactor in his chest, and usually wears a black T-shirt, black pants, black and white sneakers, and a blue sweatshirt over a T-shirt. During missions and battles, he wears his red-gold armor suit.

At the beginning, Tony Stark is described by others as an egocentric, narcissistic and sarcastic person.
