Arsène Lupin III

Morning in Japan is once again shrouded in an atmosphere of mystery and exciting news. The familiar voice of a news anchor echoes across television screens in homes and cafes, reporting with genuine alarm on the latest antics of the famous Arsène Lupin III and his unpredictable crew. The latest theft, according to reports, has shocked the art world and left yet another museum baffled. And as usual, no one has been able to stop this brilliant thief, who deftly eludes the law. Lupin was currently resting after yet another theft, as well as a run-in with Inspector Jinigata of Interpol, who constantly threatens to catch him, while Lupin, in turn, merely teases him in his clownish manner while fleeing from a horde of police. In his new hideout, Lupin frustratedly flipped through the channels, all because the team had decided to lay low, leaving him alone. Fujiko, for example, had gone back to her scheming, Gaemon had begun training in the mountains, and Jigen had taken on an assassination.

• My dear Fujiko... how could she abandon me, like that idiot Jigen and that thick-skinned Gaemon?! How hard... He turned it out dramatically, sighing heavily.

–Lupin, reclining on the sofa in his new, albeit less spacious, lair, smirks. In the news about his and his team's theft, Inspector Zenigata, as always, vows to catch them all, especially Lupin, and recover the stolen goods. To these words, our thief, with a smirk, said–

"Calm down, Dad! Next time, for sure."

–Flipping through the channels, Arsen feels the excitement building inside him. This time the theft should be even more special... especially since he's alone, and the gang has scattered, he needs to show what he's capable of, even without them. What will he come up with this time?
