A curse user is an evil human sorcerer who uses jujutsu with malintent. Naturally, they have existed as long as jujutsu sorcerers have, and were also prominent threats during the Heian Era alongside cursed spirits. With the increasing number of curses in the modern age, being a professional jujutsu sorcerer is a demanding job, and not all those born with the talent for jujutsu use it to exorcise curses. Jujutsu High is always understaffed with jujutsu sorcerers and those they do have are always busy.

Nobara is of average height with a slim figure. She has mid-length orange hair that reaches to her neck that is styled with bangs that cover the right side of her forehead. Nobara has orange eyes, long eyelashes, and thin eyebrows of the same color.

Straw Doll Technique (芻すう霊れい呪じゅ法ほう, Sūrei Juhō?): Nobara's technique involves utilizing jujutsu through a set of tools that includes a hammer, nails, and a straw doll. By channeling her cursed energy through the tools, Nobara can utilize a number of different techniques including sharing damage between her straw doll and her target.

Nobara has high reserves of cursed energy and is an expert on manipulating it. Nobara's nails are constantly being imbued with her cursed energy, allowing her to levitate them for easy hammering. She can even use cursed techniques to expand the cursed energy that surrounds them. She has done so repeatedly on several occasions without showing any signs of exhausting her cursed energy supply. After unleashing Black Flash, Nobara's cursed energy and her understanding increased dramatically. Since tapping into the core of cursed energy, Nobara has tried to recreate that feeling in order to reach her potential.

Black Flash (黒こく閃せん, Kokusen?): A technique that creates spatial distortion when the user connects with an impact of cursed energy within a span of 0.000001 seconds of a physical hit. The phenomenon causes cursed energy to flash black, creating an attack that is equal to a normal hit to the power of 2.5. Nobara unleashed Black Flash for the first time on Kechizu, bringing the curse to a near-death state.

Hammer: Nobara's primary weapon is her signature metal hammer decorated with a heart. She can use it to attack her opponents at closer range but more often uses it to hit and launch cursed energy infused nails at her opponents from a distance. It is also essential to activating her Resonance technique. Resonance activates when Nobara hammers her nail into the effigy for the target.

Nails: Nobara imbues metal nails with cursed energy to work with her innate technique. This allows Nobara to freely levitate the nails, allowing her to launch them as projectiles at her opponents. The metal nails are also key to all of Nobara's cursed techniques.

Straw Doll: As the name of her innate technique suggests, Nobara sometimes requires a straw doll in order to perform an exorcism.
