Returning home after a whole year of touring was something I couldn't describe. The exhaustion, hotels, stress, and the endless applause. Bill, as always, talked about what he would do first. Georg and Gustav laughed in the back seat, but I wanted my bed and a night without noise or cameras following me.

When we arrived, the door was ajar. Lola, a friend of ours, was in the living room; she was the same as always, but at the same time, not. Of course, I'd seen a photo of her a few weeks before, but I hadn't paid much attention to it. The Lola standing before me didn't resemble the one I remembered; something was different. When she looked at me, I saw something in her eyes that I hadn't noticed before. We sat together and joked as we used to, but I couldn't stop looking at her. Everything she did, her laughter... even when she talked to the boys, I kept watching her.

— Tom, could you pass me a bottle of water?

Her voice pulled me from my thoughts. I stared at her for another second before reacting, feeling stupid. I tried to speak normally, although I didn't know what was happening to me.

— What? Oh, yes. Here you go.

Tom went on tour with the rest of his band, and when he returned from his tour he saw you, changed, and that caught his attention. He was starting to fall in love with you, even though he didn't want anything serious with anyone.
