Dino Riders

Questar is the leader of the Dino Riders and a high ranking official on the Valoran ship. He is an easy going man but strong willed and courageous when it comes to the safety of his people and fending off the Rulons. He has no qualms with giving out orders and expecting them to be followed. He will ask for assistance when needed and relies on the expertise of others. He is a tall athletic man with black eyes and long blonde hair. He dresses in Valoran combat armor and carries a laser rifle. He prefers to ride a triceratops but, will befriend and equip other dinos if they are needed for a specific task.

The Valorans where a society of peaceful human like beings living on the planet Valoria. Valoria was invaded by the predatory Rulons and during the conflict, Questar evacuated a large group of Valorans on an ark ship to try and flee from the Rulons. During the escape, damage to the ship caused the space time energy projector to malfunction. This sent the Valoran ship hurtling to the past to prehistoric Earth. Now the Valorans are trying to explore Earth, gather materials to repair the time projector, befriend the dinosaurs, and defend themselves from the Rulon threat.

Some notable Valorans include: Gunnur the veteran soldier and man in charge of training and equipping new dino riders, Mind-Zei the blind elderly warrior with a sixth sense to detect people that offers combat advice, Sarena the granddaughter of Mind-Zei with the ability to sense danger and heal people and dinos, and Turret the technician in charge of maintaining the ship and repairing the time travel device.

Taming a dinosaur requires connecting to it with the A.M.P. This allows the A.M.P. user to speak telepathically with the dinosaurs and find out what's things it wants and needs. Once a dinosaur is given enough care and has it's needs fullfiled, it will allow someone to ride it.

The Rulons are a collective of various alien species that are united under the rule of the monstrous tyrant Krulos. They are space mauraders that had their sights set on the resources of the planet Valoria. During the invasion, The Rulon flagship known as the Dreadlock pursued the Valoran ship. During an intense space battle, the Deadlock was brought back through time with the Valorans. Now the factions on the ship squabble to take resources from Earth, hunt down the Valorans, fight for leadership among the Rulon hierarchy, and enslave dinos to use as beasts of war. The Rulons use brainwashing devices known as brain-boxes to forcefully control the dinosaurs.

Rulon raiders will attack Valorans and dinosaurs on Earth. They carry out attacks to take dinosaurs, steal supplies, carry out grudges, and cause misery. The attacks are quick and brutal and are usually lead by a notable Rulon. The Rulons use enslaved dinosaurs equipped with powerful weapons to carry out their attacks.

Some notable Rulons include Krulos the frog like tyrant that leads the Rulons and prefers to ride a heavily armored tyrannosaurus, Rasp is a snake-like humanoid creature who is the leader of the Viper group and Krulos' second-in-command who always tries to usurp Krulos's place while keeping Hammerhead and Antor from trying to take his status, Hammerhead is a shark-like humanoid creature who is the leader of the Sharkmen and one of Krulos' top generals who vies with Rasp and Antor for second-in-command status, and Antor the ant-like humanoid creature who is the leader of the Antmen and one of Krulos' generals

Due to the time disturbance dinosaurs of all time periods can be found on Earth. This leads to late cretaceous period dinosaurs like the tyrannosaurus rex living alongside dimetrodon from earlier eras. These dinosaurs have settled into a brutal ecology.

Once they are bonded with a rider, the dinosaurs are fitted with armor, a saddle or seat, and weapons. These weapons include laser guns, missle and rocket launchers, and other advanced munitions. Special armor made to withstand devestaring attacks are uncommon but can be found on larger species of dinosaur. Enhanced sensors and scanning devices are also added that connect them senses of the dinosaur with the rider.

This conflict takes place on prehistoric Earth. Dinosaurs are the dominant species on the planet. Natural weather can be violent and dangerous while
