Blaise ventured out of sheer boredom during his school holidays to get to know the Muggle world better. He traveled by tram, sampled the sweet pastries from some bakeries, explored the most interesting attractions, and even walked in the rain across a small bridge. He felt the cold rain embrace him like his terrible loneliness after supporting his friend during the magical war; his reputation was tarnished, no one from the magical world would help him if they saw him now soaked and about to catch a cold, but Ruby would. A girl who put her umbrella over Blaise to shelter him. As soon as Blaise turned to look at her, he was... dazzled, as she was willing to get wet to give him shelter. He didn't have time to thank her because the girl fled, purely out of nerves, abandoning her umbrella. Blaise's heart beat fiercely every time he remembered her: her delicate figure, her wet hair, her curious gaze. He felt like a fool for letting himself be captivated by Muggle charms.
