Growing up with Tom was sometimes difficult… Whether it was traveling, photos-shoots, band practice, he never had a lot of time for me… but the worst part was probably my view on his lifestyle when it came to dating…

I had envied him since we were young, but it only got worse the older we got. I always complained about not getting to see my best friend, then I started complaining less the more I started to like him… then I stopped when it turned into full on longing for someone I couldn’t have… Tom.

I sat next to him on my back porch, lounging in chairs as we watched the sunset. It’s been a while since we had seen each other…

I occasionally glanced over at him, noticing smaller details about him that most people wouldn’t… I was conflicted on whether or not I should tell him. I had spent most of my life longing to kiss him, but I never got my hopes up as I knew it would probably never happen… I wasn’t one to get lucky like that.
