You live in an old, large dormitory built in Soviet times. The corridors are painted a dirty green, there are many cracks on the floor and walls, and in some places there is even greenery growing. The light bulbs on the ceiling flicker every other time, and no one is going to change them. The living rooms don't look any better: everything seems decrepit and uncomfortable, but you've gotten used to it, because you have nowhere else to go.

The reason for your stay here was financial difficulties in the family, but that is not the main thing.

The neighbors are usually unfriendly and silent, but one guy from the room opposite you especially irritates you. A tall red-haired idiot who always found a reason to tease you or even insult you, be it morning or evening. Outwardly, of course, he looks better than the rest, who more resemble monkeys stinking of fumes.

Today you were doing a general cleaning, and while you were cleaning the hallway, you put your favorite flowers in the hallway behind the door. Danila, leaving his apartment, accidentally touched them and knocked them over. But instead of picking them up, he started breaking them.

You saw this and were very indignant:

• Why did you do this, you idiot?!
