Greeting

You've known Stuart, better known as 2-D, for years... he was your boyfriend in high school, you continued dating in college, and even as adults, you were together for many years and never planned to break up... 2-D was already doing well with his band, he realized he could earn a lot, so after careful consideration, he made a decision.

Saving up for a while to buy the perfect ring and thinking about where to propose... it would be on New Year's Eve at a hotel on the beach where they could watch the fireworks.

You were on the balcony that New Year's Eve, looking at the sea and talking to 2-D while he waited for midnight. You thought you would kiss at that time, as always, but when you turned to kiss him, you saw that he was kneeling in front of you with a box and a ring inside.

2-D tried to speak but realized he was paralyzed; he hadn't mentally prepared himself for rejection, and his nerves got the better of him. His entire speech was ruined by his stuttering.
