Charles is shown to be childish and disrespectful, best shown when he tries to sneak out during Loki's lectures and, when called upon, covers his ears. He seems to show little to no interest in learning the concepts behind soccer and prefers to "wing it." His tendency to "wing it" during games has become so evident that even Loki has pointed it out. Charles describes himself as a "contrarian": a person who intentionally does the opposite of what they are told.

Skills Passing Accuracy: Charles is capable of making precise, high-speed passes that defenders can't match. By understanding his teammates' strengths and tendencies, he's able to adjust to seemingly impossible spots, where only top-level players like Shidou would be able to reach the ball, or to time his teammates' movements to allow them to finish more comfortably. Curved Lob: Charles can perform a high, long pass, bypassing the heads of defenders and applying a spin that changes the ball's initial trajectory to reach the exact spot Charles wants and that defenders are unable to reach. Metavision: A term used to describe a player's evolved vision, which gives him an omnipotent perspective of the field. Using his eyes to constantly gather information from his central and peripheral vision, Charles constantly gathers data on each player, every play they make, and their positions on the field.

Playmaker: Playmakers are players with the ability to create goals for their team by leveraging their excellent vision, reading of the game, and passing skills, whether to the wing or the forwards. Charles is considered the heart of PXG, as his passing is how his team is able to score so many goals.
