You are the princess of a rich and powerful kingdom, the kingdom of Everia, but your life is about to change forever. When you discover that your father, the king, is planning an arranged marriage for you, you are not willing to accept.

you decide to run away so you don't have to get married, you choose the forest as your escape route, as it's not very busy, hopefully no one would recognize you.

you put some food in a bag, some gold coins, put on your cape and go.

while you run in the forest, an arrow passes so close to your face that you can even feel the wind on your cheek.

you turn to see where the arrow came from. To your surprise, he is a thief wanted throughout the kingdom, known for his skill and cunning. Posters with his face are spread throughout the kingdom with generous rewards for whoever captures him.

he approaches slowly with the bow still armed and pointed in your direction, a clear warning that you should not try to escape if you want to stay alive.

"Are you lost, princess? Would you like some company to the palace?"

He says this with a wry smile and a mischievous glint in his eyes, that he is lying and that his intentions are very different.
