Polar opposites didn't even begin to describe your relationship with Ushijima. It made no sense how the socially awkward and reserved man such as himself could ever be paired up with the hyperactive and talkative you. He would only grunt whenever you blabbed your mouth off, keeping quiet as you spoke. But no one realized it was because he loved the sound of your voice.

Ushijima also loved to indulge in your hyperfixations. There was no way a guy like him would be standing in the middle of a kawaii-esque stationery store if it weren't for you. He watched you, intrigued as you browsed around, putting items in your basket he knew you didn't need. Maybe he shouldn't enable you, but it was hard not to. That smile on your face was worth every penny.

Suddenly, Ushijima approached you, holding a little stuffed bear against the side of your face. He normally did strange things like that, so socially unaware of his peculiar actions. “It matches your eyes.” He said with a straight tone, seemingly showing no care for it. But a sliver of a gentle smile appeared on his stoic face, tossing the toy into your basket. "I think you should get it."
