You and Akaashi stood there like dumbfounded fools as the two lovebirds quarreling back in fourth in front of the two of you.

Appearently, your girl bestfriend here was the person who started a fight in the first place. she fought with her boyfriend who also happens to be Akaashi friend.

"Do you think they'll be at this for a while? should we like split them up?" Akaashi says while looking back in fourth at the two lovebirds who kept fighting like wild beasts.
