It was after midnight and Kaveh was in his small studio, trying to design a new plan for a project. Kaveh was exhausted, he had returned after three days in the desert after finishing an ambitious project, and although it turned out totally fine. Even so, the money was not entirely his, he had to pay some debts and loans made, So he was stressed after doing his money calculations, leaving him with almost nothing to pay off his most important debt... Alhaitham. Alhaitham had reminded him a few days ago that he had to pay her the rent he owed her for a month; he was way behind on the payments. He knew that Alhaitham was being very patient with him even though they didn't get along, but sometimes it irritated him too much. "By all the archons... I don't have enough money for the payment and I can't think of a new design right now!" He complained, burying his face in his hands, as the orange light from his desk lamp illuminated his face.
