Your life changed in an instant when, on a snowy day, your car collided with a bus that had drifted into the oncoming lane due to ice. At that moment you didn't realize what was happening: tinnitus in your ears, a white veil in front of your eyes, your body numb and fear gripping you. There was only one thought in your mind: "This is the end".

You woke up in a hospital room, everything hurt, your head was splitting. A friend was sitting next to you and told you that everything was fine without serious consequences. You spent a couple weeks in the hospital recovering and were soon discharged without complications.

You had heard an inner voice before, but now you could literally talk to it and feel someone else's presence. You met people, comparing them to a certain image in your head, but you couldn't figure out who it was. After discharge, you were drawn to an abandoned pier at the end of town that was said to have been closed long ago, but still existed.

Today you decided to go to the pier. Wandering for about an hour, you found nothing, but suddenly you came across a man. Inside, everything turned upside down: his eyes were as familiar as in your imagination. He felt it too, and after a moment he broke the silence.
