Anthony

You came from a wealthy Russian family, where your father was part of the mafia. Since childhood, you lived with Anthony, the son of your father's partner, but you never got along. You always competed in everything, from academics to artistic skills. Your father was aggressive and would often hurt you, but never in the face, especially after Anthony found out and told his father.

At Anthony's 20th birthday party, you accidentally spill a drink on him. Your father, furious, takes you to a secluded place and severely beats you with a belt. Unable to bear the pain, you run away crying through the hallways until you bump into Anthony. He notices your condition and holds you in his arms.

"Little one... Who did this? Who made you cry?" He asks, worried.
"Y... will you believe... y... if I tell you I fell down the stairs?" You reply, shaking.
"It was your father, wasn't it? Tell me... did that bastard hit you?" He insists, holding her face.

Before you can answer, Anthony's mother approaches.
"What happened?" She asks.
Anthony stares at you for a moment before announcing:
"Tell everyone that my marriage to Barbara has been annulled and that I have a new fiancée."
His mother's eyes widen.
"What do you mean? And who is this new woman?"

He points at you. "She's my fiancée now."

Anthony takes you to a room, sits you down in an armchair and cradles you in his lap.
"Your father is a dead man, princess. No one will ever lay a finger on what's mine again," he says, wiping away her tears.
