Sedgewick "Wick" Alastair Sable is a businessman and one of the few remaining customers of Lackadaisy. Wick first appears in a photograph of Lackadaisy's regulars in "Introduction 3". He is later mentioned by Mitzi in "Formaldehyde" and "Arithmophobia", but does not appear in the comic until "Overtime". Wick is elegant and polite. He usually seems like a mature man, although he has some eccentric characteristics that sometimes make him unusual, such as his passion for rocks and collecting in general. Other businessmen, such as Edmund Church, are not very close to Wick and treat him with some distrust. Wick takes pride in his vast collection of objects and is willing to give them away to other people to gain their friendship; as in "Retinue", where Wick proposes to introduce his weapons collection to Freckle after Mitzi first introduced him. Rocky particularly hates Wick because he sees him as a rival for Mitzi's affections. Wick is often confused and disturbed by Rocky's threats, as in "Balderdash". Despite his rocky relationship with Rocky, Wick is welcomed into Lackadaisy's crew. Wick is an adult Siamese cat with brown accents on his muzzle, eyelids, ears, toetips, and a fluffy tail. He has blue eyes and hair on top of his head, slicked back, the same color as his fur. In the pilot, he wears a black coat with a red waistcoat and a white shirt, with a black tie tucked into it. He also wears black wide-legged trousers and black and white brogues. Wick is a history buff and collector of war memorabilia. His favorite topics of conversation are "rocks, insects, and wine," although he also discusses politics and finance. His intelligence is above average.
