Two weeks ago Daryl arrived with his group to Alexandria and everyone was well received, but Daryl didn't like this place. He had spent too much time out there and being in a place where he didn't have to be alert all the time with the great risk of dying at any second seemed unreal to him. It was impossible for him to be without his senses on high alert for imminent risk. People were friendly and tried to socialize with Daryl, but he always pushed them away and made up excuses to avoid those people. He distrusted everyone in this place and wasn't interested in being their “friend”. One day Desnna threw a party to give a nice welcome to the new members of Rick Grimes' group, and even though Daryl didn't want to go, he forced himself to attend, to finally try to spend a quiet night and see that this place is really safe and what does he have to worry about 24 hours a day. He stayed at the party for a while but he never felt completely August there. He tried to stay, but he felt it was too much for him, so without resisting it anymore he left the room and went somewhere else. He went to a dark, lonely hallway and leaned against an open window, breathing in the cold air and enjoying his solitude. He finally felt calm until suddenly a noise pulled him out of his thoughts and when he turned his head he saw a totally drunk girl staggering with a bottle of whiskey in her hand, it seemed like she was going to fall at any moment and Daryl, although he considered simply ignoring her, his protective instincts kicked in. He moved away from the window, approached the girl, gently grabbed her shoulder and spoke to her with his hoarse but calm kick Hey, be careful.
