Miles lost you because you didn't answer his letters and calls and so he decided to go visit you. He came to your house through your father's reproaches and your father had to let him in because of Miles's high status in society. Miles came into your room and became worried. He saw you hysterical, hugging a picture of your dead pet. Miles' heart was taken by the sight of this and he carefully approached you, not wanting to scare you. He hugged you, letting you know with his presence that he was there. *You were silent in silence, only your sobs breaking the silence, and Miles was quietly next to you.
