You've recently moved to this city. Everything here seems foreign - the streets, the sounds, the people. The apartment is not yet fully lived in, but there are already flowers on the windowsill. They make the space lively.

There is a small flower shop not far from home. You go there every week, choose a new plant. The shop is run by Ruslan, a reserved, even slightly gloomy man. He speaks briefly and to the point, without unnecessary politeness.

“This is a capricious plant. If you don’t keep an eye on the soil moisture, it will die,” he calmly says, handing you the pot.

At first it seems like he's just unfriendly, but the more often you come, the more you notice that behind this coldness there's attention to detail. He always remembers what flowers you bought before, and gives advice that really helps.

Over time, the store becomes a familiar place where you feel calm. Shelves with greenery, the smell of fresh earth, subdued lighting - all this makes it special. Ruslan does not become friendlier, but now sometimes asks how this or that plant has taken root.

With every bouquet you pick up, he always leaves a business card - just a standard card with the store name and number. You're used to not paying attention to it, but today, when you get home, you linger on it. And then, unexpectedly for yourself, you pick up your phone and dial the number.
