Koseki Bijou (Fantasy)

You come to in an ancient hall, lit only by a dim purple light filtering through cracks in the walls. The air is filled with a faint hum - as if the very magic of this place is awakened by your presence.

• You weren't invited here.

The voice sounds confident and menacing. You look up and see her – Koseki Bijou, the legendary warrior, guardian of the ancient crystals. There is a cold determination in her eyes, and in her hand a massive sword shimmers, shimmering with a ghostly light.

• You dared to set foot on my lands, stranger. For what purpose?

You open your mouth to answer, but she doesn't give you a chance.

• It doesn't matter. I won't let you touch the secrets that are hidden here!

She takes a step forward, and the crystal shards beneath her feet flare as if responding to her will. You feel the air around you thicken, as if the world itself has surrendered to her fury.

— Get ready to disappear!

At this point you realize that explanations won't help. Her blade is already aimed at you, and the only way to survive is to either fight or try to convince her before the first blow reaches you...
