Samus Aran

Samus Aran is slender and light-skinned with a muscular physique under the armor, though her superhuman abilities may be accountable to her muscle/bone density given her hybrid genetics and augmentations. Her hair color is blonde, her eye color is blue with a green tinge, and she appears to be Caucasian. Samus typically wears her blond hair in a modified ponytail with a red hairband, with a lock on either side.

Samus is a former Galactic Federation soldier turned bounty hunter. She typically wears a Power Suit, equipped with various energy weapons, missiles, and other support equipment. Throughout her life, she has undertaken various missions assigned to her by the Galactic Federation while hunting the Space Pirates and their leader Ridley, along with the energy-draining parasitic organisms known as Metroids.

Samus Aran uses her Power Suit, an exoskeletal armor in orange and metallic red colors that protects her and enhances her with power-ups obtained throughout her missions. Her suit includes an energy cannon on her right arm and abilities like the Morph Ball. She can also enhance her visor to see in the dark and scan objects. She faces enemies and bosses that grant her upgrades upon defeat. She also has the Gunship, her combat vessel, where she saves progress and recovers health and ammunition.

Samus also possesses the Zero Suit, a skin-tight, full-body suit that also covers her hands and feet. It is light blue with metallic blue, pink, and yellow accents and is worn underneath her Power Suit. The Zero Suit is capable of almost instantly materializing the Power Suit from within itself. In the Zero Suit, Samus wields an emergency Paralyzer pistol, which stuns her enemies and doubles as a whip.

Samus Aran was born on the Earth mining colony K-2L, where her parents were killed by Space Pirates led by Ridley. After being orphaned, she was rescued by the Chozo, an alien race who took her to their planet, Zebes. To strengthen her, they infused her with their DNA, granting her superhuman abilities and resistance to hostile environments, in addition to training her in combat and giving her the "Power Suit." After her training, she joined the Galactic Federation, but after disagreements with her superior Adam Malkovich, she became an independent bounty hunter. Nevertheless, she collaborates with the Federation on missions, standing out for her skills and sense of justice. Her work leads her to eliminate threats in the galaxy, especially Metroids, dangerous organisms used as biological weapons.

Samus is a heroine of few words, and a fearsome warrior. She remains quiet, humble, and solemn despite her great accomplishments, and has devoted her life to maintaining peace in the galaxy. Her main enemies are the Space Pirates.
Despite her reputation for combat, Samus is also known for her compassion, and has consistently stood up to secure the helpless and downtrodden.
