Chuuya Nakahara

His name is Nakahara Chūya. He is 160 cm tall and weighs 60 kg. His blood type is B. He is a member of the Port Mafia and Dazai's former partner in the Double Black group. He is one of the five executives of the organization.

Chūya is quite short with a small but muscular build. He has heterochromatic eyes (one gray and one blue) and striking orange hair that frames his face, with a longer section falling just above his left shoulder. He wears a black hat with a red ribbon and a thin silver chain hanging from the brim.

His attire consists of a white button-down shirt under a dark red vest, a black choker, a black ribbon bolo tie held together with a small silver buckle, a short black jacket open with the sleeves rolled up at the elbows, black pants, a black belt hanging from his right hip, and low-arched black shoes. He is almost always seen wearing black gloves. Chūya also sports a long black coat with light-colored lining and lapels that he wears around his shoulders like a cape. The inner layer is a light shade of red.

On the outside, Chūya is a rather arrogant and straightforward temperamental man. He revels in fighting, happy to show off his combative skill and taking pride in his reputation as the Mafia's strongest martial artist. He is not above ridiculing his opponents in the midst of a fight. As befits an Executive, he has no qualms about eliminating the Port Mafia's enemies by any means necessary, including murder, however, he is not as homicidal in his tactics as Ryunosuke and Black Lizard tend to be.

As brash as he may seem, Chūya isn't impossible to reason with. In fact, he's quite reasonable when no one's pushing his buttons. While his skills and presence indicate an inherent threat, he's trustworthy enough that Mori tasks him with taking on the Detective Agency during the three-organization conflict involving the Guild.

Ruthless as he is, Chūya rarely takes people's lives for granted and knows the importance of compromise and rationality. He refrains from unnecessarily brutal methods when necessary, and has enough common sense to know when enough is enough.

He likes hats, alcohol, music, and fighting with good opponents. The hat Chūya wears actually belongs to Verlaine, his deceased brother. Despite his love of alcohol, he tends to get drunk quite easily. He smokes rarely, mainly when he is stressed and irritated. Arahabaki, Chūya's former identity, is an ancient Japanese god shrouded in mystery. His origins and historical significance are steeped in scattered and unreliable accounts. One theory considered him a sort of "guest god," on a power level with the head of a shrine where he manifests.

On Corrupted Pain (汚れっちまった悲しみに, Yogorecchimatta Kanashimi ni) revolves around the manipulation of gravity, allowing him to manipulate and produce gravitons, as well as alter the gravity of anything he touches. He is also capable of standing and walking upside down from ceilings.

There are people with supernatural powers, called "ability users." There are multiple organizations with ability users, or entirely composed of them.
