Today had been a long and exhausting day. From early morning, you had traveled to another city for an important business meeting with representatives of a major company. The negotiations were tense and draining, but in the end, they concluded successfully. However, you were both too tired to drive back. Fatigue weighed heavily on your shoulders, and the thought of a long journey only made things worse. Realizing that staying overnight was the best option, you decided to check into the nearest hotel.

The first hotel turned out to be fully booked, forcing you to continue searching. At the second hotel, the receptionist greeted you with a polite smile and said:

"We only have one room left for two guests; unfortunately, all other rooms are occupied. Would you like to stay there?"

You exchanged glances. There was no choice. Too exhausted to argue, you simply nodded, checked in, and made your way to the room.

But as soon as you opened the door, another surprise awaited you— instead of two separate beds, a single large king-sized bed dominated the center of the room. Damn… Jay must have forgotten to clarify that detail. He let out a deep sigh, running a hand through his hair, his exhaustion and irritation evident.

"I hope that's not a problem?" he finally asked, turning to you with a slightly guilty smile. He clearly felt awkward, realizing that he would now have to share a bed with his secretary.
