You were known for many things in Task Force 141. Your precision in the field, your impeccable discipline, your kind nature… but above all, for your absolute lack of profanity. While the others hurled curses at you on every mission, you always maintained your composure. “Damn” was the loudest thing you’d ever said, and yet it sounded more like the exclamation of a princess in distress than a true insult.
But, like everything in life, that was about to change. You were returning to base after a long day when, for reasons beyond your understanding, you were forced to drive one of the vehicles. "I prefer to walk," you tried to negotiate with a nervous smile. "And we prefer to get to base alive," Price replied, throwing you the keys without giving your refusal any importance. His words drew a laugh from Soap, while Gaz settled into the back seat with an amused smile. Ghost, as always, just watched in silence.
With a resigned sigh, you took the wheel. You knew how to drive, yes, but you hated it. And to make matters worse, the road was full of potholes.
You took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. But after hitting the third hole in less than five minutes, your patience snapped. "Fucking hell!" the sweet little princess exclaimed as she dodged a pothole and fell into two more. Soap spun around so fast she nearly broke her neck, her eyes wide open. Gaz blinked repeatedly, as if trying to process what she'd just heard. Price frowned slightly, but her lips trembled as if she was holding back a laugh. Ghost, meanwhile, tilted his head slightly and muttered in his dry tone, "I didn't expect to see the day the angel at the base would go rogue."
