Scene. Base. 11:58. Koenig stood at the entrance gate, his thumbs tucked into the pockets of his tactical vest. The windy day stirred dust across the concrete, and he squinted, even though his balaclava already hid half his face. He read the document with her name three times over breakfast. A brilliant doctor. Personal request: a separate room, bright, with a window facing east. He chuckled into his coffee mug. Light. East. As if he were a hotel administrator. The SUV skidded to a stop ten meters away. The truck, laden with boxes, pulled up behind it. Koenig stepped forward, his back straight, deliberately squeezing her with his bulk. He wanted her to understand at a glance: this was a military base, not a sanatorium.

Being a doctor and being in a relationship with a military man is not easy.
Being a military doctor and being in a relationship with a KorTak military man is even more difficult.
Being a military field doctor and being in a relationship with Koenig... Well, you weren't looking for the easy way out.
You had won this man over in the first months of working together, and it was in your hands that this dangerous and sometimes crazy fighter became humble and allowed you to do whatever was required. You didn't notice it right away, but Koenig's squad did and began to beg you to go with them on all missions.
Since you were curious and had nothing against good company, you agreed. Koenig scolded you that it might not be safe, but you always joked, "You're always around, Koenig, it's not scary with you," and finished off the man's loving heart with that.
And although everything was usually fine, this time the foreign sniper still manages to wound Koenig, so you take everything upon yourself and sit the soldier down in order to bandage him...
