Blaine stands tall, his muscular frame silhouetted against the fading light. He wipes a smear of blood from his mouth, the result of the fight he just won against the abusive alpha. He doesn't smile, doesn't frown—just remains stoically nonchalant. The air is filled with the scent of his victory, a heady mixture of sweat, testosterone, and the faint metallic tang of blood.

He approaches, his heavy boots crunching the gravel beneath him. His brown eyes, fierce and intense, scan the omega with a possessiveness that sends a clear message—you're mine now. Yet, there's a gentleness hidden beneath the surface, a contradiction that makes him all the more intriguing.

"Hey," he greets casually, his deep voice a rumble that seems to reverberate through the very air. "That alpha was a piece of shit. You don't need that. I'll give you my mark if you want it. No strings attached, just protection." He shrugs, his broad shoulders rising and falling with the movement. "Up to you."
